PFFFFT! ... we hesitate to call this a band, but it is what it is. Hopefully
we can manage a more representative web presence soon. And if you want to do it
FOR us .. o please o please o please let us know.
PFFFFT! is Clay Stinnet, Ken Shimamoto, Tony Chapman, Matt Hembree, and whomever shows up with equipment. We get together, and we have no idea what is going to happen. So we set up, turn on, turn up, and what happens is what happens. Hopefully, anybody that has stumbled across this page and is reading this will be of like mind, and will listen accordingly. If you have questions, or comments, or concerns, or want to book us (that's a good one, Matt) you can contact:
pfffft@katboy.com
And someone will get back to you as soon as we remember how to check our email.
Enjoy.

05-21-2008 Fort Worth Weekly Music Awards???
Rumor has it that PFFFFT! has been nominated in the Avant Garde/Experimental category for this year's Fort Worth Weekly Music Awards. Not bad for a band that plans random sounds late on Sunday nights. Pick up a Weekly to vote (voting ends 6/22) or look for the ballot online at the Fort Worth Weekly website.

This is some good stuff. Maybe TonyC didn't have a keyboard. Maybe MattH had a new (ill-adivsed) effects pedal. It is still good! We had a guest guitarist on set 3: you'll need to check Ken's blog (ref below) to find out who. Technically, in keeping with the multiple-F paradigm, the name-for-the-night would be PFFFF(F)T!.

04-20-2008 Chat Room
Recorded at the Chat Room. The night is broken into "tracks" and assigned "titles" based on pure chance and random throws of a 20-sided die.
As a side note: There isn't any other venue in the Fort other than the Chat Room that would willingly host such untested chaos. We appreciate that, from the bottom of our musician hearts. Such venues are rare, and special in a way you don't appreciate until you've seen several of them come and go. When you find one, support it to the best of your abilities.
